This is my second pair of Lowa low hiking shoes. They are comfortable for moderate trails in the mountains here in AZ.

I have worn Lowa's mid height Renegade for many years but quit wearing them around the time I turned 70. Recently I discovered the low version and it works great for me since I no longer hike over rough ground. I really like the low version and I intend to replace them with the same when they wear out.

Feels like a quality hiking shoe, although I haven’t done any actual hiking in them yet. Just been wearing them as everyday footwear to test comfort level over time. So far so good, although they weren’t comfy right out of the box. I ordered Wide but the shoe seems to run a bit narrow, so it’s taken a little break-in period. Everyone’s feet are unique. It’s always a challenge to get a perfect fit, especially ordering online. I’d like to give an update review after I’ve hiked in them for awhile. We’ll see.
Cons:
- Size narrow for size Wide
Best Used for:
- urban and hiking
- Urban hiking

In 2017 I had a podiatrist tell me one of these days you’re going to come in here and tell me you need your big chill joints replaced. I wasn’t too crazy about having plastic parts in my body or taking six months off of work. I wasn’t Colorado having a hard time just walking into the gas station with sore feet. I went into REI and bought a pair of Lowa mid-hiking boots The next day, we hiked 11 miles in the mountain never had a sore feet. And the hiking boot gave me all the support I hated, and I continue to wear them. Now I use the lower renegade hiking shoe from my daily go to footwear. I don’t need a doctor don’t need surgery. I need lower shoes and I also do some toe. Stretching to keep them mobile.
Best Used for:
- work or play my daily shoe

I have had a couple lowa boots before, and have liked them, but the tread rubber on these must be super soft. I have barely worn them and the sole's tread in the middle is half gone.

It’s a wide, but still not wide enough. The eyelet spacing doesn’t compare to previous model (2019?) in terms of comfort and fit. There is enough wrong to override the quality and good features that put Lowa above Oboz, Merrell, Keen (although maybe it’s too high quality to compare them to), that it’s not a keeper.
Pros:
- Sturdy, supportive, quality, Vibram
Cons:
- Width, odd eyelets / lacing

The Vibram soles wear out much quicker than the leather upper. Since the sole is integral to the shoe, it cannot be replaced. So when the sole wears, the shoe is no longer of any use, in spite of the upper still having a lot of life.

This is a high quality shoe I ordered an 11W. Fits great! Campsaver was the only company that carried this shoe in a wide . Best selection out there!!! This shoe is also waterproof. Your feet will stay dry on wet trails or wet grass. Camp saver shipped the shoes the next day and the shoes arrived a day early. I ordered a 2nd pair. Love these shoes!
Pros:
- High quality & very comfortable
- high quality and comfort

I got this for my son who's 6' 5" and needs a 14 wide shoe which is hard to come by. His last pair of Lowa lasted nearly 5 years and are still in reasonable shape. Lowa's are well suited for his foot and of good quality just as the AKU's are for my feet, which I've also purchased here at Campsaver.
Pros:
- Well made , durable, comfortable, attractive
Best Used for:
- everday use
- every day comfortable shoe
