Amazing Mountaineering Boots
I recently purchased these boots, stepping up from a day hiking boot, with the intent of not having to purchase various boots for depending on the terrain and weather. I needed a boot lightweight enough for me to acclimate quickly, breathable (warm days or cold), waterproof and super stable. I tried several brands of boots, all being returned expect for my Lowa Vajolet's. I love these boots. I

Nice Boots
Have used them for a few daily hikes so far. No hot spots and quite flexible out of the box.
Very stable, warm and dry.
I'm not so sure about the lacing knob thing on the tongue, maybe just need some time to get used to it.
