TODD SNYDER's Review of Mad Rock Lifeguard Belay Device

I read a few reviews and decided to take a chance on this device since I had not met anyone who had used it before. I can say that after using it for a few months, I like it a lot! In fact, I like it better then the gri-gri 2. It's super small and light, is very easy to feed out rope on lead and catches falls and lowers very well.

  • Good price
  • Small and light
  • Easy feeding on lead
Cons:
  • Small adjustment / learning period.
