I bought this helmet based on Troy S. review. My head is smaller than what he said (7 3/8) and there is no way it would fit on my head even if I tried to put it on with a jackhammer! Fits great, feels lighter the BD half dome when worn. Love the small bring on the front.

Looks a little pink under artificial light, but pure white outside.

Mammut - El Cap Helmet

Bought the 52-57 cm. I wear a 7-5/8" fitted hat size and this helmet just fits me when I expand it to the largest setting. The band that sits on your forehead seems like it will be less absorbent and more comfortable when I sweat. My prior helmet was a Petzl and the forehead band on that is super absorbent and ends up super soaked.

El Cap Helmet

Love this helmet! I purchased it for a climbing trip to the New and it was great. I am very petite and small and the 52-57 fits me perfectly with just a few adjustments in the straps.

Comfy and Stylish

I tried the Mammut Skywalker II, but found it to slide around on my head too much, so I swtiched it out for the Mammut El Cap. The El Cap is snug and great.
