Great light weight hiking boot!
The T Element Mid GTX Hiking feels like a pair trail running shoes on your feet, yet it has extra support in the right places. This shoe is at home on a mountain trail or the city center.

Mammut T Element GTX
I ordered a half size larger than my regular running shoe and the boot did not fit correctly, far too small even with regular weight walking socks. I would not call these true to size. That being said I did not get to wear the boots outside of my home. My first impression is that they materials were of good quality and the boots seemed quite light. I would consider these to be more along the feel of a mid trail running shoe than a hiking boot.

Really lightweight shoes with anckle support plus they are waterproof. Run small so size up.

Impressive boot, but
Test "drove" this boot on carpet for about 2 hours. Lightweight, gave great ankle support,etc. Did not test, but definitely impressed with aggressive lug sole. However, that sole might "clog" with mud or soft soil creating a "track in" issues when using for every day footwear. Unfortunately, must return because toe room was too short even with thin socks. This was problem even though I had ordered half size larger than usual. Width was OK. Definitely like the boot and Campsaver.

Awesome
I just got these shoes, have yet to test run them. As always, campsaver was stellar! There sizing chart from mammut was spec on, great fit, wear a size 12, orderer a 12, and fit perfect! Great deals, great gear enough said.

Surprisingly light weight!
I ordered the boots knowing their weight, but was still surprised by how little they weighed. They seemed very well stitched together, and even better not glued like some Nike ACGs I've owned. I didn't wear them, but once as they didn't form to my feet well. This caused some ankle and knee pain while wearing them. It's not to say that it's the boots are bad, but just didn't play well with my feet. As everyone has different shapes and curves to their feet I wouldn't let that stop me from trying a different design by Mammut. All in all they seemed like a great pair of boots for almost any season, and any distance of hiking one might do. I gave 3 stars simply because they weren't a good fit for me, and not the quality of the boots.

Great light weight shoe!
The T element mid gtx hiking boot is a great light weight shoe for every day wear. I use them to work in and run errands around town and my feet and legs don't ache at the end of day. Have no taken they hiking yet, but they should hold up fine. The runs small and you should order full size up.

love these boots
Boots arrived on time but we're one half size to small that's the only reason I rated these for instead of 5 stars. I love everything else about these they provided enough support and kept my feet earn and dry while hiking in the rain. I hiked 5 days in a row with these at Mt Rainier and they were comfortable the entire time. Mileage wad about 8 plus miles per day. Just make sure you order a h
