We got a special deal on this helmet in the color we wanted so we are going to be more biased comparing this to a Sirocco or Duetto that costs significantly more retail wise, but yes, it’s a great lightweight helmet that in my opinion is much more aesthetically pleasing in comparison to other brands’ models with a similarly low weight. Highly recommended.

This helmet fits great and doesn't weigh you down on those long approaches. The orange top adds a nice color. The helmet feels durable enough to take a rock to the head and a fall. After a long day of climbing you almost forget you're wearing it.

I have a pretty small head, and this is the only helmet I’ve been able to find that doesn’t look like a salad bowl on my tiny head. The S/M fits great. It’s also very lightweight, and easy to wear with a ponytail because it tightens using a strap at the back of the helmet (rather than a ratchet). I am hopeful that the plastic panel in the front will protect it from dings and it will hold up for a long time.

I'm looking for a light and stylish helmet for a very long and finally I found this one and it best fit with my requirements too! There is a problem with the strip when I first try it as the strip is a bit short for me so makes me feel uncomfortable as the strip crossed one of my ear during I move around. It takes time and I have to try several times to adjust until the position of the strip fits with my ear's position. Other than this problem, I will recommend it for my friends as well. Wish Mammut can hear my voice to correct this problem so make it becomes perfect.

This is easily the best climbing helmet I've ever worn!

As soon as I put it on, I was taken aback by how incredibly lightweight and comfortable the Wall Rider is. I can forget that I'm wearing a climbing helmet while I have this on because it is so light, comfortable, and breathable. For long approaches typical of alpine climbs, shaving the weight off a more traditional (read cheaper) helmet is really nice. Helmets are extremely important, and pretty cheap life insurance, but only if you consistently wear it while climbing and belaying in the mountains. This helmet is so light and comfortable that it is a really easy decision to always use it, which keeps me safe. I really like the lack of plastic adjustable doo-dads, replaced by a pure adjustable webbing strap. This makes it much more comfortable, and feels like your head is cradled by this lightweight safety guru.

The quality of this helmet is incredible, and the price point is even better. This is one of the lightest helmets on the market (only a couple grams heavier than the BD Vapor), and it can be found on sale for less than $100! That's an incredible deal, and the construction of the helmet seems really tough and durable while maintaining the lightweight nature of the design.

While you probably shouldn't buy a helmet just for looks, this helmet looks awesome. It doesn't make you look like an egg-head, and it covers the sides of your head well, which adds extra protection in the case of swinging falls and weird accid...

This helmet fits my head really well. Once it is on, I do not notice it. My head is borderline between the smaller and larger size but the larger fits the best. I really like that there is foam protecting the sides in case of an awkward fall. The hard plastic on top improves durability. It took a few minutes to adjust the strap but now it just goes on and fits. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Super light and easy to adjust.

Lightweight, great fit, couldn't ask for anything else!
