Product Info for Mammut Wall Rider Helmet

A top-class, ultra-lightweight climbing helmet! The very low weight is achieved by using an EPP (expanded polypropylene) shell and an absolutely minimalist adjusent system. In addition to the excellent cushioning properties of the EPP plastic, the helmet shell is also reinforced with a robust hard shell so as to guarantee maximum safety. To help climbers keep a cool head when solving the next crux section, the Wall Rider is equipped with numerous generous ventilation openings. The superb fit and the individually adjustable adjusent system ensure that the helmet sits perfectly on the head. There are also two clips and a elast strap to attach a headlamp securely to the helmet.image

Received the helmet a couple of days ago. It was very comfortable the first time I put it on. I also own rock rider and wall rider is much lighter and comfortable, mainly because the shell is more flexible than rock rider. Cannot wait for the spring to take it for a climb. It is also very stable on the head. No movement at all. Like it. It will be better to have more color choi...

This helmet fits my head really well. Once it is on, I do not notice it. My head is borderline between the smaller and larger size but the larger fits the best. I really like that there is foam protecting the sides in case of an awkward fall. The hard plastic on top improves durability. It took a few minutes to adjust the strap but now it just goes on and fits. Overall, I...

I haven't had it long, and it hasn't taken any hits or falls, but, so far, the helmet seems to match the manufacturer's description. Fine.. that's what I wanted, and that's why I bought it. THE PROBLEM: My issue with Campsaver is that this helmet/material is supposed to be retired 6 years after manufacture (the manufacture date is very clearly placed on the inside of the helme...

We got a special deal on this helmet in the color we wanted so we are going to be more biased comparing this to a Sirocco or Duetto that costs significantly more retail wise, but yes, it’s a great lightweight helmet that in my opinion is much more aesthetically pleasing in comparison to other brands’ models with a similarly low weight. Highly recommended.

This helmet fits great and doesn't weigh you down on those long approaches. The orange top adds a nice color. The helmet feels durable enough to take a rock to the head and a fall. After a long day of climbing you almost forget you're wearing it.

I have a pretty small head, and this is the only helmet I’ve been able to find that doesn’t look like a salad bowl on my tiny head. The S/M fits great. It’s also very lightweight, and easy to wear with a ponytail because it tightens using a strap at the back of the helmet (rather than a ratchet). I am hopeful that the plastic panel in the front will protect it from dings and i...
