Recently rediscovered the joys of front country camping, and using our backpacking tent for that made no sense. So we got this. I love this design. There is zero reason for a full coverage rain fly on a car camping tent, zip up windows are absolutely the way to go. If it starts pouring in the middle of the night, you don't need to go outside and adjust/put on the fly. You can just seal the windows from inside. The difference with this tent is that marmot gives you the option of adding a "porch" add on that will easily fit a few mountain bikes and gear, or a few dogs, and is a really nice feature if the weather is cruddy. Wish it were a hair taller, but enough room to stand up and change in. I'm 5'7" and can stand in the middle if I slouch. Dimensions are actually really close to published specs. Small enough to set up very quickly is another bonus. And not uber heavy compared to other tents in this class.
