Great basic lightweight jacket

A simple and functional jacket for backpacking and all other outdoor adventures here in the rainy PNW. I am 6.1 and 192 Lbs using L size and I can still put nice layer under to keep me warm for winter adventures.
Pros:
  • Good fit
  • Small pack size, comfortable
  • light weigth
Cons:
  • one or two more packets will make it more functional
Best Used for:
  • snowshoeing
  • camping, backpacking

This is a MUST if you hike

I’ve been wanting a real rain/wind protection jacket for a while. Just didn’t want to spend the money to get a good one. I bought this Marmot rain jacket. It’s one of the best pieces I have in my bag. It’s perfect! Gortex protects from the wind

Perfect rain jacket!

Marmot does it again for me. The perfect rain jacket for me. Fits great. Does exactly what it's supposed to. keep me dry! The upper slash pockets are great for when you have a pack on. Very light and packable.
