EinColorado's Review of Marmot PreCip Eco Jacket - Men's

Over the years I've owned two or three of these. They are not the driest, nor the lightest, but they also don't break the bank and keep you plenty dry and don't weigh down your pack. A jacket you don't worry about stuffing in the bottom of a pack or beating through the underbrush.
The weight listed is wrong. Mine in size M weighs more like 339 g (or 12 oz).

  • Light and Sturdy
Cons:
  • not flash like Arcteryx leaving you too much money for beer
Best Used for:
  • backpacking, hiking, everyday, bike touring
