Tried it out one rainy day and it was great! All the little features really help. Shipping and processing was fast. the color is pretty. I got a XS and It is form fitting with some space for a sweater underneath. I'm 5'5 at 120lbs.

Most Helpful Negative Review Not what I expecteed

I had a Marmot PreCip jacket I wore for years and loved. Unfortunately it was finally wearing out so I thought I was ordering a replacement. This jacket is no where near the quality of the one I had. Very thin and just not of the same quality. Very disappointed.

lightweight and portable

The Marmot PreCip jacket is lightweight and portable.
Also, it's breathable and durable with the waterproof rating of 10,000mm.
The hood is adjustable and fit me so well.
It's so cheap, I will recommend to my friends.

Best choice in this price range

As the title said, this waterproof jacket is the best choice in this price range. Waterproof works fine, the cutting is fine. It looks great when my wife put it on. It won’t make her look short. And you can put the hole jacket into its own pocket. It makes a great minimalist choice when I ‘m packing.

Great Jacket

I've bought a few of these same Marmot jackets through the years, Great fit and my go-to jacket for most of the year here in the Pacific Northwest. I was happy to get this for a good price through Campsaver.

Good product in cold weather and very cheap price.

In cold weather, it was an excellent outer shell, and details like the adjustable hem and hood design kept warmth inside the jacket. When the mercury rose, however, the inside of the jacket tended to get clammy from sweat and condensation, but we found this typical with most rain jackets. The PreCip’s ventilation features, such as its large pit-zips and mesh-lined pockets, moved enough air when opened and kept the wearer cool.

Rain jacket

I am very happy with this purchase. I’m petite (5’3”) and the x small fits perfectly with some room to layer. I haven’t used it yet but I can tell it will be water proof. It is able to fold into and zip itself which is very convenient for travel

What a deal!

Bought this while it was on sale! Definitely think it was a great deal considering the prices out there for good quality. Need it for work on rainy days and it’s tough to find a jacket that will actually keep you dry.

Pros:

Lightweight
waterproof
plenty of zippers for breathability

Cons:

Flap gets stuck on zipper occasionally

Great Jacket

This jacket is true to size and color. I am 5'8, wear a size 12, and got a large. It fits well without being snug. No lining so it should not be too hot for a summer shower. Hem length hits at the hip on me. Sleeves may be a little long for someone who is not tall.

Marmot rain

I love the variety of colors offered and the actual color I chose was what came in the mail. I am happy with the fit at XS. I am 5’4 120 and it’s perfect. I have one that is about 10 years old, and didn’t hold the waterproof anymore, and the interior lining started to peel. Although I’m sure it could be treated with a waterproofing application and be just fine. I don’t think it would handle a constant downpour though.

Excellent build quality and fit

Bought this for my wife after having weathered many a downpour in my PreCip that is going on ten years old. Seems to be of similar quality but with some nice upgrades -- flap closures on the pit-zips, more refined adjustment features, more attractive design. It is also nicely fitted and flattering. My wife is 5'4" and petite but curvy and the small fits her snugly without being oppressive. If it is as waterproof as mine has been it will be near perfect.

Very good rain jacket

I love my new rain jacket. It held up very well in a recent storm. It is lightweight and packs easily. I especially like the hood. You can roll it down to a small collar, or unfold it for full protection. Sleeves tighten snuggly with velcro.
