Michelin Man Jacket
This jacket is very warm and very lightweight, but man is it puffy. It is full on Michelin Man, the front zipper is just bulging when the jacket is closed, maybe the jacket will look better after it looses some loft. Right now I'm afraid to be seen in it.

4 Star Generalist
Jacket is exactly what it is advertised to be, a lightweight very warm down jacket.
Things I like:
Warm. Great from 20-50 degree weather with a single layer on underneath. Your hands/head/legs will be cold before your upper body feels anything.
Angel wings works. Not lift off when my arms are up.
Looks great. Feels great. Fabric is silky.
Things I don't like:
Well I do wish it was less expensive :)

Perfect Insert Replacement for 3-in-1
Living in California, I bought a multi-season motorcycle jacket rather than having multiple jackets for different seasons. The multi-season that came with a polartec inner jacket that was impossible to use as manufactures are no longer using liners in the sleeves. Getting into the liner without 2 pairs of bunched up sleeves on each arm was impossible rendering the liner useless. I needed a replacement that was easy to get into and then easy to slide into the outer jacket - has a mesh material that allows air to pass through in warm temperatures but is killer when mornings are frosty. The jacket performs flawlessly, easy to slide into and slides easily into the outer jacket. It is low profile so does not bulk up and make the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man envious. The jacket has been absolutely windproof even at highway speeds keeping me toasty on my commute down the 101. If the jacket can perform that feat, it will keep you warm on hiking excursion on the mountains. I would find this perfect for late winter treks on trails or for more rigorous activities in colder conditions. Neck warmer is perfect height, does not interfere with head movement - turning to look for cars coming up the side - or cause any chafing to neck or chin. One of the best purchases I have made recently, I could not be happier with the performance of this jacket, it has met or exceeded every expectation and desired feature - windproof, lightweight, low profile, warm, easy on/off stand-alone and as 3-in-1, and ...

Impressed
Great down jacket. Was my first one I got. I really like the jacket vs hoody, since I use this specifically for skiing underneath my ski shell. I used it for everything during the first year, camping, hiking, backpacking, climbing, and skiing. Needless to say, I wore it out pretty effectively in about 1 1/2 years. I have patched it quite a bit, and it still works pretty great! Overall impressed.
