Absolutely and without question the coolest pack I own. This little pack goes anywhere because it packs down to a package smaller than a can of pop. It is really handy. I love it.

During first trip...rip.
So far it already ripped between the should straps. I had been planning to use it for a longer trip in Europe, but took it a to a shorter trip to New York and already have an issue. May need to reconsider.

Perfect for peak bagging!
Went backpacking recently and after getting to a basecamp, I needed a daypack to carry my stuff on day hikes and summit attempts of nearby 14ers. The FreeRain24 fit the bill. At just 5 oz and about the size of an apple when packed down, it was easy to attach to the outside of my big pack and didn't add much weight to the trip.
Pulled it out the second day for a summit attempt that would take us about 8 hours. Packed all my layers, food and water and it handled it all. Met with some mist and ice pellets for a little while and everything stayed bone dry. I don't really like water bladders so the 2 side pockets were perfect for holding my 2, 1 litre bottles.
Pack was comfortable and allowed for strap adjustments to keep the load balanced in the right spot. Nice pack!

Must Have
I took this pack with me on a trip down to Patagonia, where the weather is unpredictable. I used it all day every day for a few weeks, and I absolutely loved it! The pack held up in all sorts of weather and conditions with no tears in the fabric, despite my heavy use of the bag. All my stuff stayed dry, it was super lightweight (which was perfect for the days I was backpacking), and having it pack into its own stuff sack is super convenient. The front pouch with easy access was really handy, since I was getting in and out of it a lot. Lastly, I think this bag has a nice look to it (better than the picture makes it look). By the end of the trip, all my travel companions were wanting a Matador Backpack. I honestly would recommend it to everyone!

This was a Christmas gift for my college son, I was very impress with how well this backpack compress , my son rides a bicycle to school and this backpack rides well on his back and is avery strong yet lightweight material

Amazing! Best packable backpack I have ever had!
This backpack is genius! I absolutely love it. It is super lightweight and packs down so incredibly small. Perfect for travel, camping, shopping or taking to the beach with the Matador Pocket Blanket which is also amazing! I rarely review my purchases but this is worthy of praise!!

I never knew 22 liters could be so tiny and durable! A couple of side pockets for water bottles are nice. Looking forward to using.
