Sweet Camping Jacket!!

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on July 16, 2009
Bought this coat for my husband for camping. He loves it and I am looking into one for myself. Looks great, and is super lightweight. Stuffs into a tiny stuff sack about the size of a can of pop. Nice for cool evenings around town too.

Awesome ultralight jacket

This is an awesome piece of gear, if you are getting it for what it is. If you want a very warm jacket that is super light and don't mind sacrificing things like pockets, this is the jacket for you. My XL weighs about 6.8 ounces. It is toasty warm when I put it on. I'd say it is good down to the 40s if just sitting around and down to the 30s moving. I was fine with a Cap 4 layer under it at 1

Out Standing Jacket

This jacket is to be used as part of my Ultralight backpacking set up. Long days and nights in the filed. I am 6' 1 and 190 lbs and the Large fits me just the way I intended for it to. I highly recommend this to any outdoor enthusiast that wants a big return of warmth in a very light package.

Worth every penny

I've been overhauling my gear this year trying to get it as light as possible and as high quality as I could. I've bought a new tent, a new down sleeping bag, new headlight, and a bunch of other things this year to replace my heavier and outdated gear. Out of all my puchases I think this may have been the best. I love this jacket, if you can call it that as it weighs less then a t shirt. This thin

Exactly as expected

by ØstfoldØrret, from Norway Written on September 10, 2011
Upon returning from a two weeks trip to the high mountains I did everything to make my 35 kilos backpack lighter. One of the things I did was leaving my 1 kilos traditional wool sweater in the cabin we left. This down sweater is the answer on trips like that.

However I´m a little anxious about the zipper I have read about in several reviews already, as it seems a little bit sketchy.

Pretty cool....I mean warm!

This thing seems to go counter to the laws physics. I do believe that it actually has negative mass. You pick it up and you don't even know it is there. Same reaction from anyone I have handed it too. And while it would not really stand alone against extreme cold (not intended for that anyway), it is incredibly warm for its build and weight. If you hike in places with cool to cold nights, this wou

Feather weight excellence

by Greg, from NC, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Warmth to weight ratio of this jacket is the best there is. Packs down so small it can get lost in your pack. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

You know you want it. Get yourself one.
