Fantastic jacket - Montane Further Faster Neo Jacket - Men's

This is a great shell. Extremely well made with incredible attention to detail. The Neoshell fabric is waterproof and actually does breathe (unlike gore-tex and similar membranes that are said to breathe - but don't). The trade-off for the breathable waterproof fabric is that it does not retain quite as much heat as a non-breathable shell, but an extra layer solves this. The upside is the breathability allows excess heat and moisture to move directly through the fabric - no pit zips needed and no swamp inside the jacket. Your base and mid layers will actually dry out while you are wearing this shell zipped up.

If you are using this shell during physical activity, I don't think you can find a better shell (except maybe the montane fast alpine stretch neoshell jacket if you are ice-climbing).
