Most Helpful Positive Review Montane North Star Jacket
Size order: L I'm 5'10", 170 lbs with a 33" waist... always right between sizes (long arms and wide shoulders). The coat is cut tight in the shoulders so I needed the Large which left a bit of extra room in the mid-section. That said, the draw cords are right you need them. It's a well built jacket. Very light but warm. Something worth considering, Montane uses down which is not live-plucked.

Nice jacket. Haven't had a chance to test it yet. Runs a little on the smaller side.

Great Value, Slim Fit!

Great jacket, amazing customer service. I bought an XL and it fit perfectly - a tiny bit long in the torso but still nice. I'm 6'3, 43" chest, and 200lbs.

I weight 80 kg and height 1,84m so I ordered the L size ( as other reviews saud that it runs short) and it fits great. The quality is also very high and it looks great with that athletic cut, i totally recomend this jacket.

Very light, great design, great fit

Got this to replace my giant Columbia parka that weighs at least 6X more. I bought a medium, fits great but not perfect. I am roughly 6ft tall, slim at about 155lbs.

I wore it at two extreme scenarios: a crisp -31F (-35C) morning with a longsleeve shirt(not a thermal one) and MH Monkeyman. I was comfortable but with the fleece it seemed too tight in the sleeves of the jacket.

Another case was a

love it

This jacket is perfect for a multitude of northwest adventures. Fits over my booty which means it also goes under my climbing harness and keeps my love handles and plumbers crack nice and toasty. This is just the ticket for waiting out those frigid ice climbing belays. It also is burly as my wife has the same jacket and took a major spill on concrete with elbows digging in and the jacket is unsc
