Most Helpful Positive Review could be my new favorite brand for trekking pant
First time buying Montane pants - quite pleased thus far. Sizing selection can be a little confusing compared to other brands. I'm a 36w/34l for most pants and went XL/long for my Montane purchase. Comfortable fit however if your legs are stockier than avg in the thigh (like me) you'll notice these are a little slimmer cut up top (I'm a diehard fan of Marmot Scree). Snaps at leg bottom hitting the floor and getting under heel are a bit of an issue if you're wearing these around the house in sock feet - but not when you're out of the house and in footwear. Well-made pants, Good fit.

These pants are very functional and seem to be well made. I usually take a 36" inseam, and these pants fit okay--I could stand to have them be about an inch longer, but they're by far the best combination of fit and functionality I've found.

Good fit, do the job

I purchased these pants for approximately $100. They are not as stretchey as my Mammut pants and overall quality is not equal either. However the fit is true to size and the cut is good and the material thickness is good for spring and autumn jaunts. The belt that comes with them is is a little narrow, and I quickly replaced it with a Mermot belt that is wider and more comfortable for my body shape (the belt will be fine for many people).

Better than Northface, Columbia, etc

These pants are by far the best overall pants for hiking, traveling, and lounging. I was skeptical at first, but have found a new favorite over North face, Columbia, and many others.
