First time buying Montane pants - quite pleased thus far. Sizing selection can be a little confusing compared to other brands. I'm a 36w/34l for most pants and went XL/long for my Montane purchase. These pants are very functional and seem to be well made. I usually take a 36" inseam, and these pants fit okay--I could stand to have them be about an inch longer, but they're by far the best combination of fit and functionality I've found.

I purchased these pants for approximately $100. They are not as stretchey as my Mammut pants and overall quality is not equal either. However the fit is true to size and the cut is good and the material thickness is good for spring and autumn jaunts. These pants are by far the best overall pants for hiking, traveling, and lounging. I was skeptical at first, but have found a new favorite over North face, Columbia, and many others.
