Good quality- Baggy sizing

by Paulyboy, from MA, United States Written on November 3, 2014
First, the good news. I'm a big fan of DryQ Elite membrane. This has stretchy knees and seat. The problem is the cut. This pant is 11" wide at the pant leg hem and maintains this width ALL the way up to mid thigh. Then is widens even more! I usually wear a 36-38 waist ( in jeans, for example) and it was suggested I size up to XL (long inseam). Believe me when I say, you can get two of my legs into these pants- and that's with fleece pants! Also the area around the hip and seat is huge! It seems like it is designed for a pear! Only because the price I paid here at camp saver outlet was so outstanding low, I won't return them. So....good materials and build quality and workmanship. But terrible fit/design/cut. Also as many reviews online discuss, the zipper on the front crotch area doesn't zip low enough. You really need to lower the top bib to urinate. That's all why it's a 3 star, not a 5....

When I tried the medium the 34" waist was fine with just a bit of cinching, but the
