ceebee's Review of Mountain Hardwear Dynotherm Down Insulated Jacket - Men's

I'll keep this short. Jacket itself is well made and provides decent insulation for low aerobic activities--walking the dog, etc. down to about 40 degrees. The HUGE problem is the cuffs. They provide no sealing whatsoever, so any wind is magnified. There is some wimpy elastic around the cuffs, but it will not snug around one's wrist. By comparison, the similar Patagonia down sweater in the same size has cuffs which are 3-4" smaller in circumference than the M-H jacket. The Patagonia grips at the wrist and blocks the wind, while the M-H cuffs are more like a men's sport jacket, letting the wind roar in.
