The Epic is a great jacket/rain shell. It is waterproof and as breathable as a rain shell can be. The pit zips do their job. The hood/hat is a little too floppy but functions fine if tightened down a bit. It works great when I have a hat on. The collar becomes rather annoying if you roll up the hood into it. only kind of Epic for me

I liked the jacket. Felt a little like a MH billboard when I put it on, lots of logos and such. I bought this and the North Face Venture at the same time and ultimately decided I like the way the NF jacket fit better, so I'm returning this one. Also the NF jacket was a little, and only a little, less scrunchy and noisy. Seems well made, stood up the sink test well, fit ok. I'm 6'2" 185 lbs and the
