amazing jacket!
easily the lightest insulated layer i've ever seen! very warm, but do be aware it is on the thinner side - so if you're going below 40F you will want to have an additional layer, either a sweater or windbreaker jacket on top.
i feel like the sizing is as expected. i got a medium, and i'm 5'6" 140lbs, have a long torso and long gorilla arms :P seen complaints about the arm length, but i'm very happy they have longer rather than any shorter!
a few other notes:
- shiny, very shiny.
- dark feathers, you can see them. i got green which is a darker color but you can still see some of the dar...

Coat Perfection!!
What a great purchase, I love this coat! The teal color is beautiful and the inside lavender is a nice subtle color. It is lightweight but very warm. Great for trips as it is not big or bulky. Will be a great coat for years to come!
Pros:

Cons:
- None (seriously)

Awesome Down Jacket
After careful research and speaking with many a woman thru-hiker, I started bargain shopping for a Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket. When it arrived I could not believe how light it was. The small fit perfectly. (I am 5'8", 150 pounds) with room for a base layer and a middle fleece layer. The sleeves are a great length, going just a little bit longer so it covers ends of gloves and the elastic is tight enough to prevent cold air from going up the sleeve. I've worn it twice hiking. The first time in 28 degree weather without precipitation and I had to remove the fleece layer because it was just too warm. Then the second time I was out for 5 hours both shoveling snow, then hiking around town and up into Shenandoah National Park. Lightly falling snow gave way to a sleet/snowy mix - it was sub 30 degree weather. I kept the fleece on this time (it has a hood that I kept on, the jacket does not have a hood) and I was toasty warm the whole time and the jacket kept me dry. I wasn't sure about the color but the price sold me! I like the color now that I've worn it and received several compliments. Great jacket!
Pros:
- Weight of material, Styling.
- Fit is true to size
- Warm and comfortable
- Waterproof, windproof, light, ability to layer, well made
Cons:
- Price but worth the money
Best Used for:
- hiking and adventuring

I like it more than I thought I would
I've wanted one of these ultralight down 'sweater' type jackets. I read reviews, and know someone who has one of these. Actually like i more than I'd expected. high quality materials and good construction. Only issue is, as mentioned in reviews, the zipper. But, this zipper is the choice, I believe, due to its lightweight aspect. You get used to it being a little fussy to start. I got a killer deal on the Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer. It's so lightweight, feels like a big piece of bubble wrap. It keeps me very, very warm. I have one by another company (a well respected, expensive down jacket), but it's not as warm as the Mountain Hardwear and it is heavier. I love this down sweater and I'll be looking forward to lots of wear. It doesn't have an interior pocket, but that's ok. It is very warm.

too small. I had to size up
Hi Campsaver! The item was delivered on time. Unfortunately the jacket was too small so I had to return it. The other item that I bought also arrived on time. Thank you!

Best jacket ever!!
I recently move from Fl to NY, and never experience winter temperatures. I can go out with this jacket and a fleece and be sweating on temps of 20F. I really like this jacket, best purchase!

Don't see how this jacket
Don't see how this jacket can keep you warm, hardly any down content. Why the cost?

light weight and beautiful
I love the bright orange color and how light and compact it gets. Everyone say the arm is tight but since I am slim Asian, it fits me perfect. I am 5 feet, and got S. It is small enough I can carry in my backpack for several days trekking.
