I needed a true tent for weekend trips with my 13yo daughter and our dog. The LightPath 3 has more than enough room for two people, gear, and our dog. We split the tent and with footprint and stuff sacks, it weights out just under 7 pounds, 3lbs for her and 4lbs for me. For the price, it's not too heavy compared to the room you get.
