Perfect 2+dog tent

by whiskey, from TN, United States Written on September 10, 2013
I needed a true tent for weekend trips with my 13yo daughter and our dog. The LightPath 3 has more than enough room for two people, gear, and our dog. We split the tent and with footprint and stuff sacks, it weights out just under 7 pounds, 3lbs for her and 4lbs for me. For the price, it's not too heavy compared to the room you get. It's not freestanding, but that hasn't been an issue for us. We h

Perfect 3-Season Tent!

by Moto Tyler, from SK, Canada Written on September 10, 2013
Only had a chance to use this tent once so far. However I found it to be very simple to setup on my own. Only took me 10 minutes!

The interior of this tent is very spacious and I had more than enough room for myself and all my gear. It would probably be ideal to have 2 people and their gear. Three would be crowded...

Tent is probably too heavy for backpacking use, but for me to strap it onto

Poles will break!

by Dallas the Guid, Written on September 10, 2011
I have had this tent since February 2011 and have used it 3 times within the past year. Twice now I have had to replace the tent poles which have snapped while out on an expedition. I also own a Mountain Hardware Hammerhead 3 which has given me the same problem! MH's customer service is very good and the poles have always been replaced quickly, but the fact is they have broken in at least one s

Good To Go

by Muddrock, Written on September 10, 2011
This is a great tent, for the price you cant beat it. If you want to stretch out then this is the perfect two man tent, although you can easily get three in. Mountain hardwear did a great job on this, its easy to set up and tear down and light for the floorspace. Also a large vestibule, and garuanteed waterproof. Get this!

Great Tent

by trr15, Written on September 10, 2011
This tent is just what I was looking for. I've only spent a few nights in it so far, but I'm very pleased. This is perfect for backpacking with my family (wife, 2yr old daughter and 90lb black lab). Its definitely cozy with all of us in the tent, but there is enough room for us to sleep comfortably. Set up is very simple and so far it has stood up well to the strong Wyoming winds. I cant speak to

Great, solid 3 season tent

by nssdad, Written on September 10, 2011
easy to set up, once you figure out to stake it out first. sheds water like smooth glass. the window starts to collect condensation, but that's outside the tent. very roomy for two, minimalist for 3. could include better stakes.
all in all, a great, lightweight and durable shelter. very pleased. best gift i've recieved in a while

Best Tent I've ever owned

by Utah Outdoor En, Written on July 25, 2009
This tent is amazing. Light weight and very durable. I've not had a tent that is so easy and quick to set up and take down. My son used it first on a 40 mile high adventure Venture Scout hike in the High Uintas in Northeast Utah. We then used it on a camping adventure just outside of Zions National Park in Southern Utah. It worked flawlessly in both places. I am now considering buying the 2
