A sure hit.

We recently took 6 teenagers backpacking along the Olympic Coast. Mountain House meals were crucial to our success. A hot, hearty meal at the end of the day gave the kids something to look forward to and helped fill up their bellies. Lasagna was well received by all. My only complaint is: the Pro-Pak contains a little less product than the original packaging. I'd rather find extra space for the bulky package and have a little more food.

My Favorite Backcountry Dinner!

I think this is the tastiest of the backcountry dinners. Really yummy. And it cooks in the pouch so no cleanup!

My Absolute Favorite Meal!

I have purchased this meal a number of times in the past. I recently moved into U.L. backpacking so space is now a premium, and this was my first time using the pro-pak! It was FANASTIC! Took up half the space of the non vaccum sealed version, tasted just as great, and I still could not eat the entire contents. If you are just trying out a freeze dried meal, you cannot go wrong with this meal!

If you aren't going to make your own dehydrated food, this is about as good as it gets. It's quick. It's easy. The pro-pack version are much easier to transport.

Just ate this on a Yellowstone Hike.

This was a very good meal. It fed two people and even had some left over. I was worried that being dehydrated would mean either the tomato sauce would be too runny or the noodles wouldn't become hydrated enough and be crunchy. Neither was the case. It tasted just like store bought lasagna and the consistency was the same as well. It was also very filling like you'd expect pasta or lasagna to be.

This is GREAT Lasagne

I was very surprised at how good this was when I had it, and how easy it was to fix. Just poured hot water into the pouch and it was ready in about 10 minutes. It was way more food than I expected and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Felt very satisfied after I ate it. Not sure I could make it taste this good if I made it from scratch myself!
