Lightweight stakes perfect for the UL hiker/backpacker!
This is my second set of these UL weight stakes. They are great for SoCal backpacking, where most of the soil is dirt. However, I would not suggest using them in rocky, or shale conditions, as they are more likely to break. Also, I would not suggest using a rock or hammer to drive them in, as the top plastic head will not stand that abuse. I use a mix of Ti stakes and these.
Pros:
- Super lightweight !
Cons:
- Somewhat fragile
Best Used for:
- Softer ground, dirt surfaces
