Just got 'em @ a great price from CampSaver. I've had other brands and liked them, but hiked in snow several times with a friend who had MSRs and witnessed firsthand their advantages for traction and the heel lifters. Can't wait to use them this season!

The MSR Evo Tour snow shoes are easy to put on once you take 20 minutes to get them set up properly. The middle strap clip however is exceptionally easy to lose however as there is little provision to retain it on the strap. There ought to be a retaining mechanism on there. You can make one of your own but why they don't include one, I don't know. The first time I went to use them I had to lea

I purchased a pair of these to compliment my MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes so I'd have a second pair for the girlfriend or whoever else wanted to join but didn't have a pair of their own.
I snowshoe on the days when nobody else wants to be out in Vermont. I abuse my gear in sub-zero conditions, chest high powder, and on rocky mountain tops.
