I own several stoves; Zelph alcohol stove, primus omni fuel, vargo ti cannister stove. the MSR Windpro II hits a sweetspot that makes it good for the majority of situations. It is a cannister stove that can run in "liquid" mode. Great for cold weather. It is a remote canister stove, which one can utilize a wind shield. Heats faster then alcohol and is more weight efficent on longer hikes. Simpler
