I am disappointed that Nalgene has discontinued making this product. I have three, and would buy more. The top rim fits any water filter or dispensing attachments including my Katadin Hiker Pro and MSR. So, when filling the canteens, they cannot spill unexpectedly. The canteens all stand up well on their own. The top rim is a little awkward in the pack, but, a reasonable trade-off for the size an
