Most Helpful Positive Review Second bed away from home
I came from a ultralight backpacking mentality, so my first thought was getting my wife the same ultralight setup I have and we run super light. I realized in the few first camping trips that she runs a lot colder than I do and is miserable even in the warmest sleeping bags by herself. So, we compro...

Most Helpful Negative Review Made for shorter folks and warm weather
I'm 6'2" and the bag was too short. I was constantly pulling the quilt up trying to get it over my shoulders. After I got back, I realized it was made for up to 6' people, which was my mistake. The other part I didn't like was that you couldn't snap it at the edges. If it were to have been cold, I f...

High Quality

by Mil, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on July 10, 2019
I used this sleeping bag with my wife in the PNW coast. Temperature was down to about 50 and it was cozy. We used it more as a comforter because it would have been too warm if used how it is designed to use. I again used it by Mt. St. Helen's by myself and it was toasty. Temperatures were about the same. I really enjoyed the footbox and how light it feels on the body. I do recommend this product. I was sceptical at first because it was an investment but I'd say I'm getting my money's worth. It's too large for backpacking but I went motorcycle camping so I had a bit more space. It comes with a compression sack and its roughly the size of a gallon of milk. I will use this over my mummy bag anytime I have space for it. Cons: it's designed to be used with 2 sleeping pads because its backless. You must have the correct sizes in order to complete the "sleep system". You need two 20×72 sleeping pads.
Pros:
  • warm
  • Quality and fit
  • soft and comfortable
Cons:
  • Needs a Sleeping Pad to work properly
Best Used for:
  • Car camping and traveling
  • Motorcycle tent camping

Exquisite

by Aaron M., Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on March 28, 2016
Haven't taken this to the backcountry yet, but my girlfriend and I took this for a test drive and it is so warm and fluffy. Better than any of the blankets on our beds!

Only thing is that the bag that it comes with does not compress it to it's full potential, which obviously is important if you're planning on taking this thing into the wilderness. If recommend picking up a waterproof compression sack from a third party. Mine is sea to summit and seems to work fine.
