I’ve been buying from CampSaver for years. I’m never disappointed with the products I buy. Never disappointed in the prices or the shipping time. Keep up the great work CampSaver employees!!

They are a bit heavy but sturdy. I just bought them but I think they will last. The rounded heel makes for a bit of a shock on impact. My old Keens had a squared off heel which had a greater cushioning effect on initial ground strike. It hasn't been a problem yet but we shall see if it causes fatigue on a long hike. I have custom insoles so I can't speek to the originals. They seem well made. I got the wide version which are just a little bit wider than the standard and provide sufficient room in the toe box.

comfortable shoe . quick delivery . Haven't put many miles or trails on them but my last pair of oboz are still going strong but are showing their age . Plan on a few adventures this summer but i'm impressed with these shoes. Thanks for everything.

I had one of this the last three years, and this was my go-to hiking shoes for spring through fall. I've a very sensitive foot/toe and I tried many brands none was as good as Oboz. Current pair I've used heavily and now I'm thinking about another pair.

After reading a bunch of reviews and watching multiple videos I decided on the Oboz Firebrand II Low B-DRY Hiking Shoe. The shoe arrived and out I went on a short hike...about 1.5 miles. At about the half way mark my heel started to get rubbed raw. There is a seam about 3/4 of the way up in the heel pocket of the shoe...it did a number on my heels. Both heels had huge blisters after that short hike. The seam started to feel like a giant ridge and was very uncomfortable. I'm still healing but tried the shoes on again the other day and I made it out the door and then had to take the shoes off because that seam ground into my healing flesh. It must be a combination of my heels and the shoes. I will try and just wear the shoes on much shorter walks and see if I can break them in or somehow have that seam mellow out. It is a pricy shoe just to make a shelf in my closet look good.

I like the fit of the Oboz Firebrand II B-Dry shoes enough to have ordered a second pair - the new Firebrand Leather version. Hoping they fit the same.
The Firebrands have a stiff outsole that flex at the ball of my feet and have great support for my 6' tall, 235 lbs frame (mostly muscle...LOL). As I wear 11.5 medium and have lower volume feet, these are my new all-around shoe - at work, around town, and light hiking. I prefer an over-the-ankle boot for longer hikes and backpacking.
Pros:
- True fit
- support of foot. average rigidity. stable landing of foot on the surface
Best Used for:
- Work or casual
- light hiking and walking

These shoes fit well and look nice. Most importantly, they are well-made and tough. Excellent product. I just took a 5 mile hike in the Rockies where I live and my new shoes provided great support and excellent traction. When I got back, they were more than a little muddy and I had to spend a little time cleaning them. They again look brand new. I am planning to wear them to an exhibition at an art gallery this evening. They are good for play and for social events.

I am 70 years of age and have worn hundreds of shoes over the years. The Oboz Firebrand is absolutely the best, most comfortable and supportive shoe I have ever owned. I hike quite a bit in the Smokies including some fairly uneven and difficult terrain. Firebrands offer great traction and support along with true comfort as a hiking or street shoe. I am semi-retired and I walk 20K to 25K steps a day on work days. These shoes have become my go to footwear for work. I have had these shoes for a couple of years and they have held up well given the amount of wear they receive. By the way, Firebrand is a really good looking shoe as well. It is a winner all the way around.

I wanted to love these but shoes but sadly, I will have to return them and seek another brand. I wanted something light, rugged, waterproof and comfortable for daily use as well as trails. These shoes would fit the bill if it wasn't for the inadequate padding in the tongue. The lack of padding allows you to feel the laces and strap on the top of your foot as you walk no matter how loose you make the laces. I have flat feet, no arch, and welcomed the insert but that added to the issue I believe as it reduces room for your foot in this shoe. Maybe if they start making these slightly taller inside, they would work but they would definitely have to add padding to the tongue.
