I love this shoe; it's my third pair. I have very painful, arthritic feet but am a very active walker so I require a stiff sole with a good footbed that provides both comfort and support. I have worn two pair all throughout the winter seasons in Upstate New York and through warmer seasons as well. They wear like steel and keep my feet dry and happy. I look forward to a long relationship with my newest pair, I recommended them to a friend who is a dog walking enthusiast in New England and she was delighted with them as well. Just an all around great shoe for anyone who walks a lot, but a required shoe for folks like me who simply couldn't walk without such a supportive, rugged shoe.
