My Boot of Choice
The Oboz Sawtooth is the boot I always wear now for hiking in dry weather. I was introduced to this boot by a merchant in Bozeman after I needed a replacement for my previously beloved Keen Voyageurs. The Sawtooth works really well for my wide forefoot and low volume feet. I've got plenty of room in the toe area yet the midfoot hugs and the heel is not too narrow. They were comfortable from the

Briggs's reveiw of OBOZ Sawtooth Low Hiking Shoe
I love this shoe; it's my third pair. I have very painful, arthritic feet but am a very active walker so I require a stiff sole with a good footbed that provides both comfort and support. I have worn two pair all throughout the winter seasons in Upstate New York and through warmer seasons as well. They wear like steel and keep my feet dry and happy. I look forward to a long relationship with my newest pair, I recommended them to a friend who is a dog walking enthusiast in New England and she was delighted with them as well. Just an all around great shoe for anyone who walks a lot, but a required shoe for folks like me who simply couldn't walk without such a supportive, rugged shoe.
Pros:
- comfort and breathability
Cons:
- Not enough colors
Best Used for:
- all around

Oboz Sawtooth Low
These were for my wife and she like how comfortable they are right out of the box. She can't wait to hike in these the first time. I have a pair also and they took hardly any time to break in. Best pair of hiking shoes we have ever bought.

Love this brand!
I've lost count how many pairs of Oboz Sawtooth I've owned. They are the best fitting, most comfortable and supportive hiking, working and everyday shoe I've ever worn. As for Campsaver, I've never been disappointed with their service. I highly recommend both product and store!

Not for everyone
I wanted so badly to love these shoes. I found them heavy and clunky right out of the box, but I tried them anyway. Went hiking on a slippery surface and BAM, went right down. Got back to standing and my feet went out from under me again. They are probably fine for rugged mountain terrain, but on everyday trails, slick surfaces and lower elevations they are not so great. I'm going back to Merrell and Salomon, both have better grip than the Oboz and are lighter weight.

Sawtooth Light Hiker
This my second pair of Sawtooth light hikers but probably only because I tend to wear one pair of shoes that are to do the work of about five. My first pair I purchased three years ago. I wore them and immediately felt my posture improve.
These shoes were a big step up from my old broken down sneakers shoes. To test them out, I wore them to work, which is a 12 hour plus graveyard shift working
