Optimus Fuel Bottles
Does it's job and doesn't leak. Bought two .4L bottles to go with my Optimus Polaris Optifuel. Nice and compact combination. They are very well made and a bit less expensive than some of the others on the market. They come with child proof caps.

Child & Adult Proof
I like the design and light weight. I bought two of the 30 oz. bottles to take fuel on an extended ride. When I ran out of fuel and needed more I could only get one of the bottles open. Luckily that was enough to get me home. The bottle is great, the caps need work. I still can't open the thing no matter how much I try. I'll probably have to drill it open and reverse tap it.

Optimus Fuel Bottle
I love my 2 new .6 liter fuel bottles I purchased from Campsaver. I couldn't find the one that came with my backpacking stove, which does not function without one. I found exactly the model and size I needed at a reasonable price so I bought 2. They are very lightweight and are an attractive light green color. Couldn't be happier!

pissed
Yeah, I bought the optimus bottle. The child lock cap keeps the kids out. Problem is, it keeps me out too, the thing's broken. I only bought the bottle because the description on an optimus stove led me to believe that it didn't come with its own bottle, which turned out to be wrong, so I don't need this thing anyway. Need to find a way to get rid of it. By the way, the bottle that came with the stove has the stupid child lock cap as well, and that one opens fine. I'll reserve my comments on how useless the child lock is for now and just say that adding complexity to something that WORKS FINE ALREADY is never a good idea. Thanks engineers.

Green is good...
Nice bottle. The interior is lacquer coated, so it can be used with alcohol as well as petroleum liquids (alcohol is somewhat corrosive to aluminum). I love the bright green powder coated color...I don't know, it just cheers me up. I don't care much for the "child safety cap", but I opted to use the Trangia fuel valve that fits perfectly, so it's not a factor for me.

Good Quality
After 30 years I had to replace my fuel bottle. I bought a Stansport because that was all that was available. The white gas in the bottle caused the cap to swell and it was hard to get back on after removing it. If you let the bottle dry out, it fit again. I bought an Optimus bottle and it's of much higher quality and I have no problems at all with the stopper. DON'T BUY STANSPORT, NO MATTER
