Great convenience and compromise with the hassles of white gas
Bought these for backpacking with the scout troop. Regular canister stops are not stable with larger pots. We have been using whisper likes but scouting rules with white gas are a PIA assuring everyone is currently trained. Canister stoves get us around this. My only complaint is I expected them to run hotter in liquid mode. They ran great and were simple to use.

Outstanding product!
This stove worked fine. The boil time was slower than the other stoves I have used like VEGA. Yes, they give you little screws so you can use other pots, but they seemed really unstable. The stove is pretty cool, and works well. I have had no issue with the stove lighting up with the piezo igniter, and have always had a steady flame. I am satisfied with the sale price. Take it on the journey, take a break and have a cup of coffee

Light & Sturdy
Compared to some of the other light remote canister stoves, the Vega is sturdy, stable, and puts out a lot of heat. I have not timed it, but I am positive that it boils water more quickly than the Olicamp remote canister stove I used before, and more quickly than my old MSR pocket rocket. Having the pre-heat tube to enable inverted canister/liquid fuel use only adds to its speed and versatility. I was also happy that it seems to be sturdy and stable despite being very light. The burner seems to operate smoothly at all settings, which allows it to simmer reasonably well and avoids flaring or pulsing when you invert the canister (you do still need to start it on vapor with the canister upright, so you need to warm the canister at least enough to get the stove going before inverting the canister).
I plan to use this as my primary stove, and will only use a liquid fuel stove on very cold high altitude trips. The Vega is light enough that I don't feel the need to have a separate summer stove.

Sweet Stove!!!
Great stability with all pots, light weight, excellent flame control, quality construction, works well when the temps get nippy, my number one stove at this time!

One of the best
My new favourite for 3-season use. Sturdy, boils fast, freestanding so you can turn the canister upside down. You can regulate the flame pretty well, but I think Optimus could have made an even better regulation? Though it is quite good, it is not perfect. But; best I have seen so far of freestanding.
