Most Helpful Positive Review Osprey Atmos AG 65--Best backpack EVER!!
I can't say enough good things about this pack. When Osprey christened this rig "Anti Gravity" they weren't just tossing words around. It is so incredibly comfortable it's hard to find words to describe it. It's like the whole pack molds completely to your body and becomes part of you, without all t...

Most Helpful Negative Review Atmos 65 ag
The backpack itself was great how every the shipping service or packing was 2nd rate at best. Item was placed in a large box with absolutely no protective packing what so ever. The free pack cover was not there and took over a week to finally get it. Customer service was quick to resolve the missing...

Great backpack

by Cookieman, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on May 15, 2020
I have hiked the AT using three different backpacks, a kelty, a catalyst, and the osprey and the osprey AG is by far the most comfortable pack over a long distance. I do wish it had deeper side compartments and two water straps but overall I give it five stars especially if you can find it on sale for less than two hundred dollars.
Pros:
  • AG system
Cons:
  • Heavy pack only one water strap up front
Best Used for:
  • long hikes

Turns backpacking into a pleasure

by ser, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on April 29, 2020
Took this badboy out for a test run on the Napali Coast in Kauai, HI for a week long backpacking trip carrying mine and half my girlfriends gear and it was absolutely amazing! It was so comfortable I didn't mind at all carrying my girlfriends gear and a bunch of "comfort" items. My girlfriend had the women's version of this backpack for her very first backpacking trip and also loved it. The backpack felt like a part of my body when scrambling along cliff edges, crossing rivers, and scrambling up and down muddy inclines. Can't wait to take it on a heavy duty backpacking trip.

Worth Any Dollar Spent

by Aleksandre Rosebashvili, Verified Owner from Georgia Written on July 2, 2019
I have been hiking for over 4 yaers now, tried several different backpacks, but none of them were as comfortable as atmos 65... adjustable, flexible, spacious. My size was between Small and medium, both fitted, but i chose Small version and chose was right... height distrubution is excellent; my pack was 16.7 kg but felt much less, comfortable carrying, no sweaty back, it was pleasure to have this kind of bag on my back. but there are some problems: the empty bag is more than 2070 grams, which is a lot... also the space for sleeping bag compartment is enough, squezzing is still not comfi and hard work :d ... not wide enough... otherwise enjoyed it totally; Raincover is not included but thats okay, osprey raincovers are too fregile and will be destoyed soon (2-3 hikes)... but i will not say that this backpack can be purchased for amaturs backpackers.. if you dont adjust this pack correctly, it bloody hurts... every single strap adjusts the pack to your needs, know which one does what... or from the most comfortable pack it will turn into backpain.. space is enough for backpacking gear... everything was inside the pack... under rain it hold, but under heavy rain you will need the raincover... Remember it is not waterproof... if you are looking for maximum comfort from the backpack... osprey is the one... Notice... if you are quite praqtical, and dont carry a lot .. 50 litre version is also nice option... i like carrying lot of gear and food... so 65 does the job... 4-5 day ba...

Great backpack

by Heffe, from NJ, United States Written on March 9, 2019
Was using an rei flash which is a also a great backpack but on long hikes I found the padding to be uncomfortable. So I decided to get the atmos 65 which is the most comfortable pack I have ever owned . The only negative I notice so far is it is a little heavier, but with the extra comfort I barely notice the difference. I strongly recommend the atmos 65 and u can’t beat the price at campsaver (cheapest I could find it anywhere with some coupon they sent me ) around $200

Great Pack

by Biggie, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on February 19, 2018
Great Pack. Well made. Very Comfortable. Love the color (Graphite Grey). Hopefully it will be spending a lot of time on my back. Most of the weight is on my Hips and not on my shoulders. I am 5' 10" and bought the medium frame. It isn't super light but not bad for a rugged pack that will last for years. Got it on sale which makes it even better.
Pros:
  • Well constructed and very comfortable
Cons:
  • a little heavy
Best Used for:
  • Back packing

Cons:
  • None

I have just received my backpack and it seems perfect. One of the best backpack I have ever tried on my back!
Great quality, very convenient! I think anti gravity system will be great during hiking.
Maybe a bit heavy but that is because of durable quality.
Highly recommended.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

The AG is a deal breaker! Yes it weighs over 4 lbs but when you load it up, you can't even tell that you're carrying 25 lbs. it's amazing that the load is adjusted so well that it feels like you're carrying lighter than you really are. Great pack!
