I purchased this Pack last summer 2014, in Lone Pine, CA at Elevations. My 2003 Gossamer Gear Backpack, Died on the PCT and I was looking for a female specific pack to replace it. The Aura was one of two choice I had on the spot. I loaded my gear in both and after walking around in the store I walked to the Whitney Hostel with the Aura. This pack has been my was pack of choice every since. The shoulder straps ride in the proper place and do not slip off. the hip belt actually snugs down and I can get weight transfer if I want to. I did trim allot of extra off the straps. I put 238.8 trail mile...

Osprey Women’s Aura back pack
Great great pack for 1-7day outings. Super close, balanced and contoured fit. I am 5’ 7” and athletic 70 year old with some back troubles and this pack just right for me. Love the many adjustments, pockets and wrap around pockets on the waist strap, Love the detachable day pack too. Best pack I have ever had.

Lightweight
It was well worth the comfy hug the waist-belt gives you. While the pack is still on the ground, step your foot into the "C" the wais-tbelt forms as you lift the pack. This forces one side of the "C" to slide right into place on your hip. The pack has plenty of convenient pockets and adjustments. I was able to get my load just right.

Best Backpacking Pack for Women
My Friends have used this pack for a while, no quality issues... 50L is ideal size for women, only 1 of my friends chose 65L pack because she loves to carry lot of staff and equipment... if you are practical 50 L pack is enough for even 8-9 day backpacking tours..
Main Differences Between 50 and 65 Aura Packs:
No big zipped pockets on the front(Only 65 versions of Atmos/Aura have them)
50L version is a bit liter..
Seems bit Smaller but Feels more comfortable as well..
Max load is less than in 65(2 kg difference
But biggest problem of most of this packs: No RAIN COVER (again)

Great backpack
Nice Backpack, Flexes and moves with your body, Pack was very comfortable and fit to my body. I was carrying between 30 to 35 lb and would not have been able to do so with a different pack. I love this backpack.

I bought this pack for
I bought this pack for my daughter in law and she loves it. The fit is just right a she is very small in size. The packs first trip was into the Trinity Alps and at the end of 3 days my daughter in law was very pleased with the comfort of the pack.

I love it!!
I’ve been eyeballing this pack for quite some time and finally took the plunge and bought it—I’m not disappointed! It’s perfect for those longer overnight backpacking trips, but also has the removable top portion for day trips. I haven’t had it long enough to see how it will hold up with stains and dirt (notice it’s a very light color) but honestly that doesn’t bother me at all. I’m excited to use it for years to come!

A great pack balancing weight and comfort
It is very comfort but at the same time lightweight. However, the 50L version lacks of sleeping pad straps. It would be super great if it has.
