I bought this pack primarily as a laptop case and daypack for longer hikes. I love how much stuff I can store in the main compartment and other pockets without the pack feeling too heavy. I never feel like I don't have enough room for everything I need. The separate sleeves for a laptop and Camelbak bladder are nice, with one exception: there's no hole in the pack to feed the bladder hose through, nor is there anywhere to attach the hose to the straps. This seems like a huge oversight on Osprey's part. I've also seen some of the older models of the pack, and I liked the designs of the old ones...

I'd been eyeing the Flap Jill pack from Osprey since it came out. It took me years and a good sale, but I finally pulled the trigger when my cheap-o bag busted. This is a great pack. It has a place for everything and feels very comfortable on your back. Since I'm using this as a more professional backpack for work situations, I do wish the straps didn't have the buckle and waist belt, although I realized that if I do end up hiking with this I'll probably redact that statement. Its a bit bigger than I was looking for in a work bag, but overall I think its a great pack and I'm glad I finally bought it.

I like the looks of this bag, functional without looking like I’m trekking Mt. Everest. I use it to commute on my moped and as a daypack at music festivals. I like that the fabric is water resistant. Feels great on my back.

My daughter uses the pack daily to and from school and her dorm. Great volume without making the pack unwieldy. Easy to access and stroe items. Great fit. Other reviewers were right the black is not black but more of a steel gray. The color is very nice and goes with anything. Would not hesitate ordering another one if it was needed. [...] We enjoyed viewing the product demonstration.
