Osprey Raptor 6

by Dean R., Written on February 11, 2016
This is a really well-designed hydration pack and makes really good use of space. The lower straps are wide enough and padded enough that they can be snugged into place so the pack doesn't bounce and slide all over when cycling off road. The pack is just the right size for my use and came with a tool roll and helmet lock along with some other great features that the Camels don't offer. I was in a store to order this at first and the sales staff tried to talk me into a CB, but I declined and they couldn't get the Osprey. Since then I took my Osprey into that same store to show them why I wanted one and the salesperson acknowledged that it was far better pack than they carried.
I love the Raptor 6 and look forward to many miles ahead.

Raptor 6 pack

Love the pack. The pockets are well thought out and sturdy. Love the tool pouch.

Not a big fan of the bladder. Too heavy, hard to clean, and already got a hole in it from ice in the bladder apparently.

I really love osprey packs.

Inadequate size for dayhiking..

by Dash the Advent, Written on December 12, 2013
I use this bag as a daypack for mountaineering and thus I am required to carry survival gear ("the ten essentials") as well as minimal rain protection and insulation clothing. Although my stuff does fit in the pack, it does so barely - this despite having an ultralight philosophy to my gear. I had to severely trim down my survival kit and pack contents to a no frills state, and buy new, smaller it
