Reviews & Ratings for Osprey Talon 33 Packs
— 9 reviews — Page 1
This pack has a lot of the features of a more expensive pack. It is lightweight, has hip pockets and nice side and back mesh pockets, airscape support. Wish it had a built in raincover. Seems durable.
I ordered a Osprey Talon 33 Pack and within the same week, I had the bag at my front step. I also got it $35 cheaper than buying it elsewhere. Great service, highly recommend!

Just wish waist strap was longer, it fits but I like it loose so when I'm riding it's not pushing up on my gut. I'm 6'0 250, not skinny but not heavy either.

After finding a stuffed Talon 44 too big for carry-on and the Talon 22 too small to carry everything I own, the Talon 33 is just right. The stretch stuff space holds my full Camelbak Mule or jacket-raingear-raincover. I wish the top lid could expand upwards when needed as it does on the Talon 44 and that there was a CamelBak bladder hook, but otherwise this pack does everything I need. Side pocket

I bought this pack for my 13yo daughter. She has a 15" torso and I was able to adjust the harness a little smaller than the is really designed for. It still works well and carries comfortably for my daughter. Her total full pack weights are 19-21 pounds for an overnight/weekend trip, including water, food, 1/2 of our tent and the remainder of her gear. She fits a 3/4 length thermarest air mattress

I bought this pack for a two-day, very long hike and I'm happy with my choice. No rubbing or tugging in the wrong places. I bought the S/M (I am a 5'9" 135lb woman.)Since then, I've used it on many day hikes and for late season skiing (no powder skiing since powder gets into the meshy areas.) The mesh frame is nice in hot weather. The pockets on the waist belt are a decent size and make snacks, ch

I can't say enough good things about this pack! it is very light and can swallow a great deal of gear. I use this pack many times each month when I go climbing. I like the stretchy outer pocket as well as the loops for tools which I often use to hold and ice ax or trekking poles. I just love this pack!

So far we have only used for trips with the kids. but can see it working well for day walks and bikepacking
Love the harness with the hip pockets- perfect for compact camera to be at hand when needed
The map pocket does not work for Australian maps since they are longer and skinnier the US ones.
Using a camelbak bladdder was a little tricky to work out how to hang it but no big issue
