Short people ain't got no feelings...
It's so nice to see that when a company goes through the trouble of placing zippers, elastic cuff pulls and instep tie ins on pant leg bottoms, they also go through the trouble of making them in different lengths. Say, how about one waist size fits all, like say 32! No? Well, I learned to sew at an early age just so I wouldn't look like a clown (although that may be in style these days) because

Outstanding
Love these pants! Great quality and the fit perfectly. Convertible pants are a great choice for ultralight backpackers...pants and shorts in one. Breathable material is comfortable, quick drying, and durable. The pants come with a removable belt which I really like. I wish there was a zippered pocket on each leg rather than just on the right leg because more storage space is always desirable.

Light and Comfortable
These pants are comfortable and light. I took them out on a recent backpack trip with temps dropping down to 20F at night. When the evenings and mornings were cold, they kept me comfortable yet were not too heavy. The zippers work great to change to shorts when the temps warmed up. They breathe well and dry quickly if wet.

Great shorts, but sizing is a bit off
I recently purchased these, a Prana, and a White Sierra. All were convertible pants, all were 32x32.
My Pranas and White Sierras fit great. But the Outdoor Research Equinox was a bit big in the waist and a bit small in the inseam. Yes, the waist is adjustable, but there comes a point when the bunched-up waist can get a hair uncomfortable.
Now granted, I'm a stringbean. I could fit perfectly in 31" waist by 33" inseam. But nobody makes those. I would like to note, however, that my other two pairs of pants did have noticeably longer legs, like 1-2", despite being also rated as 32x32. And while I also have to snug the waistbands on those, it was slightly less of an adjustment compared to the Outdoor Research.
If I could, I'd mail the legs back separately for a pair of legs off a 34" inseam. But oh well. Its liveable.
These pants do seem quite comfortable in shorts form, so that's a plus

fits perfectly
This pant fits perfect and second pair. i have inseam size 29 and hardly find pants that fit. REI has short length but style is no good. it has very long rise. i fit better with short rise and these are shorter but not too short rise. but loose fit over boots and straight legs. love it! I want to buy all the colors now.
