this is a perfect all mnt sport jacket for those moments when the rain hits and the temps drop, saved my ass on haleakala maui at 10000 ft in a rain storm on my rd bike.....buy it!

Outstanding!

I adore this jacket. It’s very light, packable and water proof. I wear it over my warm jacket during the rainy season. It blocks the wind too! The hood construction is nice - it protects my face and glasses from the rain and mist.

OR Helium II

Decided it was time to lighten up my load and found this at a great price. I couldn't resist and am taking her on her maiden voyage to the JMT. This little gem packs up to about the size of my fist. So worth it!

Good no frills jacket but awful purchase experience

Lightweight, no frills jacket for emergency use, but I'm not a huge fan of the tiny spots of darker red all over the basic red color of the jacket. Also, campsaver's payment verification took many many emails, phone calls, using several different credit cards, and costed me money because of bank fees every time even though purchase wasn't even made. The purchase process took over a week, was extremely cumbersome and annoying. Unless prices are super low I won't buy here again because of the hassle I had trying to pay for this item.

Super light and kept me dry.

I wore this jacket in a torrential down pour while camping and it did a great job of keeping me dry. I love that it’s so light and can be folded down to the size of a wallet.

I really like my new Helium II jacket so far

I wore this camping in Fruita this past weekend and there was a lot of sporadic rain the whole time I was there. I pulled out my new jacket and found that it definitely did the job of keeping me dry. Lots of beading of water on the exterior which is a good sign! So far so good on this product!
And I like the color and lightness of the jacket. Will come in handy for weight when backpacking.
