Most Helpful Positive Review Exceptional Coverage for Head and Neck
After completing treatment for head and neck cancer, it is imperative that the treated areas be protected from the sun while enjoying outdoor activities. This light weight, comfortable hat (with UPF protection) serves this purpose well. It covers the back and sides of my neck without obstructing my view while golfing.

Outdoor reasearch is making the great accessories for hiking as always. this cap is very light weight but works well protecting my face from the sun. bought several pcs for myself and my families hiking together.

Sun Runner Cap

Cool hat! (pun intended). I was hiking a few weeks ago and saw someone wearing one of these. It was hot and the sun was baking me. I thought, what a great idea, someone came up with this. I'd never seen it before. So, I searched the Campsaver website and found it. Had to get one. Very happy with it.

Dorky but excellent

I've used a Sun Runner for a year or two, and it's excellent. With cape removed it's a lightweight breathable cap with a good length bill. With the cape added it has fantastic neck protection.

I bought this one for my wife, and it fits fine. Outdoor Research's XL is one of the few caps to actually fit my 61cm+ head.

Just what I was looking for!

This cap was just what I was looking for! I just returned from my hike up Katahdin with this cap. It was great I could remove the covers when I was at camp and put them back on when I was back on the trail. Medium was out of stock and would be a good fit for me, but small fit fine since the back was adjustable. The cover can get annoying in windy conditions.
