Patagonia Capilene Thermal Weight One-Piece Suit - Mens
For what appears to be an almost see through item, I am very, very impressed with the warmth and wicking attributes this onesie provides. Talk about looking great in it? NOPE - thats not going to happen.
It weights next to nothing, and stays where it suppose to. Is my wife impressed with my new purchase, me thinks not, but I just pull up the hood and hind in the shadows." Ninja Hangovers" may be epic this garment, not that I look forward to such an occasion, but when it may occur, anything can help.
I do a lot of work outside here on Cape Cod, and look forward to battling the elements warm A...

Not sure how this product got such a high rating. First of all, this isn’t even a heavy weight thermal, I can see through the fabric. Second, the size is not what it’s advertised. If you want something that fits like a thermal should, buy 2 sizes smaller than normal. I am sending the product back.
Pros:
non flashy styling
Cons:
Not heavy weight

Comfy suit in and out doors. I ordered my Patagonia Men's Capilene Thermal Weight One-Piece Suit from CampSaver.com. I hadn’t used the site before and this is my first Patagonia item. The one-piece arrived quickly and just in time as the air temperature that day was minus 6 F. The fit is tapered. Not bulky. Tension at the ankle is smooth and just right. Some features I didn’t think would matter to me were the thumb cuff loops, zip back-side, and hood. However, the people at Patagonia know what they’re doing, and I do appreciate the attention to details and the added features. I thought the hood would be a hindrance. The hood is fun, well fitted, fashion forward, and a benefit in cold air. The hood is well designed and conforms to my head. It stays back far enough so it doesn’t hinder vision. I thought the hood would be bulky but it turns out it lies flat when not in use. I wore the union suit indoors under clothes at work. The green hood sticking out from my grey wool sweater drew unexpected complements. Didn’t think a union suit could be a fashion item but many co-workers thought it would be a great gift for their spouses who spend time outdoors. A union suit has advantages of no air leaks, no tugging, and overall comfort. This union suit fits better than most with a good amount of taper and just enough stretch. It remains comfortable both indoors and outdoors. I took it cross-country skiing. The cold bit my face but the suit kept the rest of me comfortable. The hood really ...

I’ve only been able to put it to use a couple of times in moderate winter weather (20-30F), but it has been great! I have a light long sleeve top under it and BD Dawn Patrol Touring Pants and another lightweight top over them. Kept me quite comfortable on two climbs. With a shell top, I’d be good to 0F or a little below.
