We took the Patagonia Lightweight Travel Tote on a trip to Hawaii for our little one's everyday needs + beach-specific gear. On the plane we used it as a carry-on tote, and then again on the beach. It fit her little travel potty, bottles of water for the whole fam, change of clothes, cash, snacks, and more, and had enough zippers etc that it remained relatively sand-free. great travel bag

needed a bag that didn't look so much like a backpack, but could be a backpack when needed. This is exactly It. Great for long wknd trip, super sturdy for groceries, carried it as a tote bag, used it on a day hike, even stayed in place while doing a bit of trail running

Great tote

sturdy tote from patagonia, very roomy and comfortable. Has two water bottle compartments! The only thing that would make it better is if the tote straps were just a little bit longer.

Great bag! I use it as a diaper bag and is super handy to use the backpack feature when dealing with a squirmy baby.

When it works...

I've bought the same Patagonia backpack for myself and my daughter three times each. We both are really hard on things but it took us each several years to wear each pack into the ground. They're lightweight and sturdy. Patagonia is a good brand.

The only downsides, all minor:
- the straps (not shoulder straps but ones for toting) are longer than they used to be. I hardly ever use them so they f
