While this shell is available in very attractive jewel colors and is made of a soft waterproof GoreTex fabric exterior, it has no lining and is a pretty thin basic shell. I already own two such shells, and I wanted a new waterproof shell with a lining for hiking, cross-country skiing and dog walking in the Sierras spring, fall and winter.
