While this shell is available in very attractive jewel colors and is made of a soft waterproof GoreTex fabric exterior, it has no lining and is a pretty thin basic shell. Patagonia's ethics and products are top of the line for me

this jacket is just what was written about it... well made and light weight...if you are looking for more warmth from a rain jacket, this is not the one... it fits over my winter jacket and does great in the NW rain...
i like the long sleeves... the jacket itself is a 'slender' fit, so i went up a size for wearing over down jacket in winter...
easy to pack small...i love the deep, robust color, Elwha blue...
and best of all for me, as i am very chemically sensitive and fabrics bother me a lot,
i did not find any 'off-gassing' fragrance and could wear the jacket right away...
i always buy Patagonia products when i can afford them
because they 'walk their talk", which i'm finding more and more rare in many other gear-wear products...

Great Rain Jacket

This jacket is exactly what my daughter wanted, and I was able to get a much better deal here than what we saw in-person at a store. It fits true to size and looks great on her. Very high quality, as well.

White Torrentshell Womens Jacket Size Small

This jacket was PERFECT!! Size Small was very true to size, and the jacket is more fitted ~ I am a size 27-28 waist and 5'6" tall, 130lbs ~ If you prefer a bit more room to maybe wear a sweater underneath you might want to size up :)

Stayed dry and cool

Thank God for pit zips! I wore this during heavy rain showers in Florida. It was humid while it rained, but I stayed cool and not clammy!

Torrentshell jacket

Used the jacket on my recent vacation across multiple western states. It was perfect. It kept me warm and dry when it rained. Very convenient to stuff into its own pocket and hang from a hydration pak. The only downfall is the material does make a little noise, but thats to be expected with material that repels rain..
