Most Helpful Positive Review LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
These are my new favourite pants. I'm a "function over fashion" type girl, but these cover both! I most love the articulated knees - I hate how my jeans go baggy around the knees and I'm hoping these won't have the same issues. I am a curvy 5'7" and 160 lbs. The large is a comfy relaxed fit, not too baggy and not too tight. I know these will be my go-to pants for years. I bought these on clearance.... I truly hope that Prana isn't discontinuing them. Maybe I'll buy another pair just in case. :)

Love these pants!

I love the fit and feel! Great quality and versatile. I would say they are true fit if not a little on the slim side. I’m 5’7” 150lbs and ordered a large. I think I’ll order a medium next time though since they felt a bit baggy by the end of the day. Inseam is long but easy adjusting with the cinch at the cuff. I bought two different colors. Might buy more...

Great casual comfy pants

Even though these are "climbing" pants, I wear them t work (teacher) and they look quite dressy enough. I have 4 different colors. The elastic waist is great, and the mostly organic cotton fabric is breathable and easy wash... no ironing needed.

Comfort with flare

Somewhere in my early 30s I refused to wear uncomfortable pants ever again. I received a pair of these a few Christmas’s ago and now I own several pairs. They are never too tight, don’t loosen like jeans and are always complimented when I wear them out. I don’t own fussy clothes and these have never shrunk in the drier. I’m 5’9”, 150 and the regular are a perfect fit. In love with the dark cherry color.

Cute but much baggier than I expected

I'm 5'5" and 147 (athletic build) and I got a medium and use them for indoor climbing. They clearly fit as they're supposed to. I enjoy these pants and they're super comfy-- they are quite baggy, however. I'm not 100% sure I would have gotten them if I'd tried them on, but they are still good quality pants.

Cherry Red Medium was Too Short

Me: 5'9", 155#, hips 39.5" Bought: Medium. I have two other pair of medium Avrils in Gravel and Green, and both fit perfectly in hips and length. Unfortunately, the Dark Cherry medium was on the tighter side in the hips and was too short. While the tight hips could have been solved by my dropping 5 lbs, the hem came to the top of my ankle bone and was certainly too short. Great color however! Wish they'd worked out for me.

Prana Avril pant

These are great pants! Super comfy with just the right amount of stretch. They seem true to size. These pants have a nice elastic band at the bottom, that can be pulled tight for activities like climbing.

Awesome pant that won't stay up

I love the material of this pant, it dries quickly, moves enough for yoga, and looks like a street pant. However, it has a low waist with a drawstring. The drawstring is a good 3" below my navel and does nothing. I am constantly pulling them up and wear them only to teach in now, not for long climbs or full yoga practices

Absolutely love this pant! Great fit and length. Extremely comfortable and flattering. I wear a size 6 and the small fits me perfect. I have purchased 3 pair so far and hope Prana makes more colors available - especially red!!!

Comfortable

It runs big. But they’re very comfortable. The gusseted crotch makes it easy climb. It is reasonably priced and the fun colors are a bonus. I have gotten a lot of compliments wearing them on the Crag.

Elastic waistband, reinforced & articulated knees, vibrant/fun colors! These pants are great for lounging around the house, going to the climbing gym, working out in the yard, walking the dog ... whatever you choose, these should meet your needs!
