Dymooonite little stove

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Great little stove, very stable and easy to adjust the flame. I have two of them, one for my small fishing boat and another one for camping A great reliable unit, and for [$], what more can you ask for
Most Helpful Positive Review I couldn't ask for more...
I'm a typical guy. I'm lazy and want everything easy. ;-) And this stove delivers. It's lightweight and small so it is easy to transport no matter how light you want to go. It lights easily and had a pot of water boiling before I believed it could happen. I added a cheap set of stove canister feet, and it is remarkably stable. Oh, and it didn't break the bank to buy. I can't ask for more.

Wide Base for Camp Cooking

by Myspleen, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 10, 2022
I bought this stove to accommodate slightly wider cook-set for car camping. The wider base makes it more stable. Cook time is fast with 10000 BTU compared to some Coleman or Gas One single stove burner at 7500 BTU. The footprint is small compared to most car camping stoves.

Very good lightweight compact stove. Excellent value.

by Hike King, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on September 20, 2021
Countin' ounces... Looked at several dinky alternatives at 4-6 ounces, but Primus Classic Trail Stove (great Primus lineage) has larger burner, four pot supports, packs compactly (fits in my pot including small gaz cannister) and is only 9oz. Used on multiday backpack in Uintas in bad weather and worked just fine. Took just a tad long to bring to boil. Used rocks to steady cannister and sheltered from wind- warming my fingers. Ouch-not too close with the fingers... And the price for a quality stove can't be beat.
Pros:
  • Great price
  • Quality design
  • Good pot support
Cons:
  • Made in China, but what can we do?
Best Used for:
  • Back Country

by Gary, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on July 19, 2021
The stove might be best one i ever used for the pot support is really big and can support big pot. the special design make it wind proof in some way, but recommend to use windscreen in windy weather to improved the efficient.
the only thing not so perfect is that it is heavy.
Pros:
  • high output, stable
Cons:
  • Heavy
Best Used for:
  • Hiking, camping

Small and Mighty output

by Indiana DIY, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on May 23, 2020
This large burner stove, but it's compact enough to get the job done with very easy to adjustable flame control. I have build water super fast on this stove, and it does an excellent job. It is a two-piece stove to put together but that, not a big deal, it is a superb stove; it may not be a small as some would like, but it will work very well, and the burner windshield and pot support is very sturdy and reliable.
Pros:
  • large burner
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Backpacing
  • backpack camping

Can't find fuel can.

I am kind of let down that it does not come with the fuel tank. I can't seem to find Primus tanks anywhere.

The best you can get for the money

by Yodita, Written on September 10, 2011
I bought this product because of the price and I'm surprised by the quality. I think there isn't better product for this price. It's very stable, you can use big pots without any problem.
It has a great temperature control, and even heat distribution.

Great, Simple Stove

by DV, from VT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
I bought this for times when I'm car camping and want to do things like make pancakes and bacon in the morning. I'm not one for carrying pots and pans with me through the forest, I save my Jetboil for that.
It has a great simmer (provided you have a sheltered campsite), even heat, and high output when you need it. I have no trouble lighting the stove. It's very stable.
For the insanely low price,
