I use this for downhill skiing. On your first lift ride of the day, you may find yourself a little cold, but once you start skiing, you will warm up and stay that way. A great product. It’s no wonder that Polartec describes its Alpha fabric as active insulation.
Pros:
- Very light weight but warm
Cons:
- feels fragile
Best Used for:
- Skiing, alpine hiking, mountaineering & other cold weather climate activities
